Update...finally!!!

I have finally updated the blog. I figured since I have another doctor's appointment on Wednesday and my last post was from the appointment 4 weeks ago that it was time for me to get to work. We enjoyed celebrating the holidays with family and friends. We have been busy around the house and getting ready for the arrival of our baby girl.

I am officially in the third trimester now and feeling pretty good. My energy takes a dip in the late afternoon/evening but not as bad as the first trimester. Our baby girl is quite the mover but she can be unpredictable. Last night we were laying in bed talking and I had to stop Marcos and tell him to feel my stomach because she was kicking away. There was no mistaking her kicks and Marcos loves finally being able to feel them as well. It is really so amazing!

I have added many posts below with pics of some of the things we have been up to lately. I promise to update after Wednesday's appointment. Hope it was worth the wait! :)

Male Version of Nesting!

If there is a male version of nesting than this must be it! Over the last week Marcos transformed our garage by using epoxy to cover the floors and painting the walls. It was a lot of work but it came out great. Here are some before and after pics.

Getting started...check out all of the supplies nice and organized for the start of the job! :)

Floor is done...time to move everything back in.

After! It came out great...almost like an extra room for the house!

Gracie's New Bed

We have been so busy setting up our baby registry and picking out things for the baby's room that when I saw this little bed at CVS I couldn't resist getting it for our other "baby". She realized right away that it was for her and she loves it!

Daddy's girl in the making!

We spent Christmas Day at my parent's house. Here are some pics of Marcos opening some gifts for the baby. She's already a Daddy's girl!! :) Who could blame her?? :)

Meet Chai!

The weekend of Thanksgiving my Dad found a kitten at the animal shelter by our house. Long story short he feel in love with him and now he has joined the family. Here is Chai showing off a bit and celebrating Christmas with my Dad. He is a Siamese Flame Point - very beautiful and hard to believe he had been at the shelter for 2 months and no one snatched him up! He's a total love bug too as you might be able to tell from these pictures.

He helps fix the TV with Dad.

He even naps with Dad. :)

Christmas Eve at The Rezas

Christmas Eve was spent at Javier and Anna Marie's house. My parents and Julia came up to join us as well and it was a great time. Here's a good pic of my growing belly:

The Dads and Herb having a great time!

Let It Snow!

The week before Christmas we had quite a bit of rain and this is what the mountains looked like right behind our house. So beautiful!
